Two Parties one Weekend

Thank you Uncle Ben & Aunt Whitney and Papa for the balloon backdrop.
Lydia and Sarah requested a homemade Oreo Cookie Ice cream cake for the party at Gammie's and Papa's house.
Gammie and Papa sure set the bar high when they let McKenzie for her birthday spend the night. Following that a shopping spree. So Lydia and Sarah are excited for tomorrow to come so they can do the same.

Aunt Whitney went over the top making these adorable shirts, with matching hair accessories.

The Campbell Party
Seeing how we were at the garden all day Saturday, it was nice for everyone to meet us at John and Alice's for Lydia and Sarah's birthday party. Thank you Mom and Dad for letting us party down at your beautiful home.
There is a funny story ( funny for some and sad for others) following these 6 pictures. See if you can guess what happened without the narrative.
Both Lydia and Sarah are so happy to blow out their birthday cake.

That sneaky Lydia blew hers and Sarah's candles out before Sarah could even get a chance.

Grandma to the rescue!!
Dry your tears.
Let's start over.
I will light your candles and we will sing to you again.

And Grandma even held Lydia back. ( Lydia still is smiling) Makes you wonder what is going through Lydia's little mind.

All is well in the Campbell home, that chocolate cake fixed it all....with a
lot of help from Grandma!

Star of the Week

Each Kindergartner gets to be Star of the Week.
A whole week to be the center of attention. The star of the week gets to bring in stuff they want to share with the class, answer questions from friends, be the leader to recess and lunch; and of course the best part wearing the crown.

Great find

I am a lover of thrift stores. And this was a great find. It was like Christmas for Porter in April.
What perfect form...
Will it go in?
Absolutely it does! He was taught by the best...Daddy

The Best Art Teacher Ever

Alice (my mother-in-law) was gracious to volunteer her time and talent to Lakewood School. She taught an art class in the twins Kindergarten class.

One little girl from Mrs. Moffetts Kindergarten class wrote in her journal the day after the art lesson:
I cant wait until next Wednesday when Mrs. Campbell comes to teach us art.
It was the best day.

What a treat to eat lunch with grandma.

Right after Lydia and Sarah's lunch, mom was able to eat with McKenzie. McKenzie's art lesson for her 3rd grade class was after lunch.

The class LOVED the dragons. There were some great artists in the class.
You cant help be good when you have a great teacher like my mother-in-law. She's the best!

Happy Birthday Lydia & Sarah

I cant believe my twin girls are 6 years old. Its been an honor to be their parents and I look forward to many more years of love and laughter.

Doughnuts for birthday breakfast.

For their birthday lunch they wanted to buy lunch at school. They were so excited.

Best buds.
Lydia, Sarah, Ashlyn and Jillian

Birthday Hugs
Miss Hedi announced that Lydia and Sarah had a birthday; and they were able to use the microphone to dismiss tables and sing a couple of songs. Lydia did most of the singing. She is a goof ball.

Belonging to the Baskin-Robbins birthday club and the Cold Stone Birthday Club is a must! FREE ice cream on your birthday.
*Happy Birthday Girls*

Lydia and Sarah both wanted to go to Chucky Cheese for dinner. They scarfed down dinner to get to the fun.

Happy Easter Everyone

Happy Easter!
Easter this year is at the Adamska home and are happy to have Ben's parents, Bob & Cathy with us, as well as Scott's parents, John & Alice.

Creative and talented would be two words to describe my parents. My parents this year asked everyone to design a Easter hat and bring it to the party. You will see some creativity in action this afternoon. You can count on that!
We had to quickly enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt before the showers began.

Spring is here! I love the flowers in my mothers yard.

Easter Hat Photo!
Each family designed a hat for this occasion. Looks like everyone had a great time with this project.

After the great meal that we always have at my mom's, who doesn't like their back rubbed! My family sure spoils my kids with rub downs.

Before the night was brought to an end, the grand kids enjoyed playing Candy land with Gammie and Grandma.

What matters most, is what lasts longest.
And that's what we have here,
FAMILY.

Toothless Lydia

Didn't she loose a tooth just 2 days ago? Yes she did! The tooth fairy gave her 4 quarters and a King size Kit Kat Bar. She loves chocolate so much I really think she is pulling out her teeth for chocolate!
