Good Times

Every time we go to Grandma's and Papa's house, whether the garden needs tending to or not. the girls love to see and work (a little) in it.

Scott and I talk about all the memories the kids are going to have because we live near family. We feel so blessed.

Pet Mart Field Trip

Rainbow School for "P" week went to Pet Mart to see all the pets. This crazy lady told the kids that she has 14 rats just like this back at her house. It didn't surprise me that she worked there.

Definitely the highlight of the store were the fish.

Front row sets to see the Lionhead Rabbit

The taranchula caught every one's attention.

Ice Cream Run with Mom

Date night was with Mom on Friday. Lydia wanted a Oreo Shake from Jack in the Box. Sarah wanted Slam'in Berry Sherbet with rainbow sprinkles at Baskin Robbins.

The Big "60"

The day before Papa turned "60" we all went over to tend the garden. While Grandma took Papa to Wine and Roses we rushed to turn Papa's room into a Fiesta.

Happy Birthday Papa!

Thanks for the yummy cake!
I had to put JJ/Aleena's gift on here. Those jokesters!

A Blooming, Booming Garden

The Campbell's almond tree is blooming beautifully.

OUr beets are sprouting

Here are our rashes. Which we will be harvesting them all on Saturday.

And these are pea plants

Grandma and Sarah are soaking the apple tree and then going to add that tree to the fruit orchard.

Porter wanting anything that Grandma does. I love the way Porter is looking at Alice.

All the kids are going to be in need of a back rub after all the weeding is through.

Preparing for the next section of the garden to be planted. Everyone has a job.
And I started to sing:
Working in the garden is fun to do
Fun to do, Fun to Do
Working in the garden is Fun to do
To Do, To Do, To Do.
Love that Lip!

Porter loved the tractor.....UNTIL......
Papa took him for a ride.

My kids cant narrow down what is the best thing to do at Grandma's & pa's. They have anything and everything. Just another thing to add to all the wonderful things there; their neighbors have horses.

Sarah W's birthday party

Sarah W's party was all about sports. Either wear your favorite team jersey or be a cheerleader. Piper and McKenzie will cheer the professionals on!

That's my girl! Showing off in front of the boys.

Concession stand food....nachos, hot dogs, soda, chips, you name it; it was there.

After the fabulous candy necklace that McKenzie was given at her baptism by her Aunt Whitney, she wanted to give Sarah one just like hers. Since Sarah's favorite team is the Green Bay Packers, we went with those colors.

Play Dates

There's nothing like going to the park with friends to make life great. McKenzie has a good friend named Piper whom we have known since Kindergarten.
