Garden Grow

We are all amazed at how much these plants can grow in a weeks time. Lydia is showing off the pumpkins and zucchini plants.

I feel like true farmers when Scott and I go out to see our corn. Its coming alone beautifully.

Beans, Beans the magical fruit

This is the last picture of the carrots and today is the day we harvest. Bugs Bunny would be proud.

Onions

Last week the head of the lettuce was barley there, now LOOK.

This just makes me smile, Big heads of Lettuce.

Lydia just letting Dad know that he is loved.

More peas to harvest

Now with almost everything harvested, the fenced garden is looking bare. Scott is now till up the ground and adding compost so we can plant celery, broccoli, summer lettuce edamame.

My job in the garden is weeding and taking pictures. Yuck weeding! Well not the case at all. I make the ground beautiful so all the plants grow. With out my job, the plants would be strangles by weeds. I do enjoy my job greatly. It reminds me of all the times my Grandma Genny would come to our house on Hildreth and weed. She was a weeding machine! She would weed around the house and even in between the Kiwi plants. And we had 2 acres of them. Cherished memories full my heart as I weed in my garden.

Funny Little Boy

You know the older this boy gets, we get to experience his hilarious personality. Here he is making himself laugh by blowing in his hands which in turn cracks himself up. His laugh is very contagious.

Lydia and Sarah's BFF

Catherine, Lydia and Sarah's first best friend. She attends Rainbow School too. I set up a play date and we went to the park before heading home.

Here are 3 strong girls!

Peek-a-boo

They are happy as can be.

The sit and spin is always a favorite. And Sarah is searching for pictures in a Search and Find book.

Building blocks are a classic children's toy that they all love and enjoy.

Rocking out and making some noise!

Its nice to hear from upstairs giggles and laughter from great friends.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

It was also a very Happy Mother's Day at our house. All of the girls gifts were made at school.. A great way to express they way they feel about me, straight from the heart.

As the pictures were taken with each child, so much love was felt for one another in our home.
It was a great way to start off a Sunday morning!

Right after church we all headed straight for Gammie and Papa's house for Gammie's birthday celebration. Lydia of course went for the piano that is now kept in the bedroom, not the living room. Hmmm, I wonder why?

Aunt Whitney is showing Sarah the skills to play volleyball.

With having four kids, it is sometimes hard to take pictures with all the family members. So I put this wonderful opportunity to good use and took photos that I needed.

We put our good walking shoes to use and walked ourselves over to Lodi Lake. We stumbled upon a stage where Lydia said, "Hey guys....I have a great idea...
Lets have a dance contest.

Here we all are, loving every minute of Lydia's Great Idea!

We were one with nature as we strolled down the trail and saw deer grazing on grass.

One Big Happy Family!

To the Best Mom in the World,
Happy Birthday to You.

It's That Time Again

COCK A DOODLE DO.........

We harvested the spinach and the beets today.

And all 6 rows of the peas.

The lettuce and the cabbage are starting to make the ball in the middle.

Here is our watermelon, zucchini and pumpkins. And something has been eating our plants. We will have to put a stop to that immediately!

Our corn is making good progress

We have tomatoes

I think everyone should stop and smell the flowers.

McKenzie helping Grandma with the trimming of the rose bushes.

Porter was looking so cute that Grandma and I had to grab him and take a photo.

As McKenzie was trimming the bushes, she found a snail and made it her pet.

Lydia hard at work let nothing disturb her as she paints that box.

Grandma made all the girls paper dolls. That was the best.

Silly Lydia and Goofy Grandma!

Grandma let Porter open his birthday present early.

Scott checking on the progress on the carrots; plus weeding them out.

Porter found himself a seat.

All the girls wanted to go with Papa in his big truck to the store.
