My girls spent two days working on a Talent Show for Scott and I to watch. (I give credit to Aunt Whitney and Uncle Ben for creating the love of talent shows in our house.) McKenzie was the MC and gave us the run down of what was to come throughout the show.
McKenzie was first playing, "Mary had a Little Lamb".
Lydia followed with a story titled, "Daddy can we have?"
It was so sweet. She kept saying over and over, Daddy can we have a big house, Daddy can we have a big dog, Daddy can Mommy have a baby boy. On and on in her cute little voice.
I was off to the side of the whole talent show and I could see the paper that Lydia and Sarah
were holding and they had few words on them. It was great to see their big imaginations grow and expand right before us.
Sarah made up a great story about a little boy named Jack and his dog named Rosie. Jack's sister was allergic to Rosie, so Jack decided to hide Rosie under his bed and feed her and have that be where she lives from now on.
What's funny about that story is that my mom bought a cat, and Uncle Ben had a horrible allergic reaction one Sunday night so that next day my Mom got rid of the cat. I guess Sarah thinks that Gammie should have hid it from Ben underneath her bed.
Scott and I a year this June converted one bedroom into a playroom (Barbie's, computer, T.V, desk, ect) and the other bedroom holds all four kids. The computer has educational web sites on it only; PBS kids alphabetical dinosaur song from A-Z was sung by the girls and don't forget a bit of hip action.
