Prunes

Typically kids either loathe bath time or can't get enough of it.
Lucky for me, my kidlets are the latter. If they could have her druthers, they'd soak in bubbles all night long and let the cold water run over their toes until they shivered into a purple-lipped popsicles.

"I Love You"

I started off Valentine's Day off by waking up at 4:30am to make home-made cinnamon rolls for my wonderful family. Each child had a place setting with a M&M heart shaped I LOVE YOU. As my children came down stairs they were greeted by the aroma of a cinnamon sugary goodness baking in the oven.

Letting my husband sleep in was just the start of his lovely morning. He was treated to breakfast in bed.

Romance is shown in many ways with a busy house of six. Scott daily shows me romance.
I feel romance when Scott goes to work daily and lets me cook dinner at my leisure.
I feel romance when we set down for dinner as a family.
I feel romance when all the girls run to Daddy as he comes through the door from a long day at work.
I feel romance when Scott calls to see how I am doing.
I feel romance as Scott makes righteous decisions that's pleasing to our Heavenly Father.
I feel romance when Scott gives me a soft kiss and tells me how he loves me.
And the list goes on......
I am having a lifetime love affair with my husband.

McKenzie's Baptism

Today, my daughter, McKenzie was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was so excited to be baptized and follow the example set by our Savior, Jesus Christ. She has developed a testimony in the last couple of months of baptism and of the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Scott and I are so proud of her and the steps that she has made.

What a amazing moment that was cherished by all who attended.
Scott and McKenzie both are beaming with happiness.

McKenzie and Small Papa had a fabulous idea to have an all-you-can-eat...build your own ice cream sundae fest.
Everyone left Full and Happy!

When I was baptized, we had Hawaiian Sister Missionaries in our Ward. And they surprised me and my best friend at our baptism with "Candy Lei's." I am sure I had the same reaction on my face and McKenzie has on hers.

Aunt Whitney made McKenzie an out-of -this world, spectacular candy lei for her baptism. This is something that McKenzie will remember; just has I have remembered about my own baptism.

Birthday Bash

The look on McKenzie's face made staying up for Scott worth it.

Happy, Happy Birthday McKenzie!

The night before we talking about, what she would want for her birthday breakfast and dinner. She wanted donuts for breakfast and Rick's Pizza for dinner. I definitely got off easy for this birthday.
No cooking....who's birthday is it?

Scott took off work for McKenzie's B-Day. And we all went to Lakewood School to have all the kids help celebrate her special day.

McKenzie was hit with her class; with Costco King-size cupcakes, Camp Rock napkins and party favors for the girls and boys. The boys enjoys fake teeth. They were snatched up fast!

Open Wide..
No Wider....

Another thing that made her birthday special, was "Activity Days" at church, started for her on her birthday. Activity days give children opportunities to interact with each other and have wholesome fun by participating in physical, creative, cultural, and service activities. They give children the opportunity to put into action the principles they have been taught during Sunday Primary and in their homes. Activity days are usually held twice a month on Tuesdays.
This is what McKenzie made. A Valentine's card for Scott and I.

Party At Rick's......

Bless my Garden

I do have to thank my Heavenly Father for all the wonderful rain that we have had. He has helped our garden grow, grow, grow.

The girls ran out to the garden to see if there were any spouting seeds.

McKenzie is flooding the garden.

And watering the radishes.

Grandma created a coloring book from the reading book, "Brown Bear."
It was a hit with all the kids!
So much that Porter didn't want to share the color crayons with anyone.

Cuddling with Grandma is a must!

"Doffa Lydia"

It's great to see my kids play with Grandma for hours.

Learning from the Master

Growing up in Morada, we had 2 acres of Kiwi plants, a fruit orchard, a garden and a yard to play. So of course I called my dad, who is the master at trimming trees. He was more than happy to help with the Campbell fruit trees. They have such an assortment of fruit trees. This year will be a great year for fruit!

It was nice to see the kids sitting together enjoying Capri Suns together!

Sweet Sight

I had a few last minute things to gather up for church on Sunday, so I asked McKenzie if she would watch Porter for me. What a sweet sight I found as I came down stairs! She is such a good big sister. Porter loves her lots.
